Nightmare Kingdom

I'm living in a nightmare
I'm living in a cage
I'm living in a kingdom
Of pain and lies and fake

The people all around me
They never saw my face
'cause nobody ever saw it
This dark and godless place

I dreamed I saw an angel
His wings were shining bright
Although his wings were bloody
They were shining trough the night

The angel didn't spoke to me
His voice I've never heard 
But I felt it in my soul
The decision of his heart

"My life was hard
  My life was bad
  I saw a lot of nasty things
  I tried to fly to heaven
  And broke my bloody wings"

That was what he told me
And I couldn't hear his voice
He never spoke to anyone
He said that was his choice

So the years passed by
And I never saw him again
I'm still sitting in my kingdom
Of illusions, lies and pain
